Parents Evening and Teachers!
Had parents evening today!
It was really good actually. Most of my teachers said I'm doing really well, put more than enough effort in, should be able to achieve above my target, get B's and A's. A few said I should be more confident about my work. My drama teacher said I have a real talent in acting - which was nice to hear. Both my art teachers said I have lovely art work! Maths teacher said if I push myself a little bit more I could get a A instead of my predicted B. My English teacher couldn't be more happy with my progress. Just need to re-draft a few pieces of coursework, maybe over Easter or something, which is fine. He also said how he loved how I just say what's in my head. Like, if I don't get something he's pleased I'll speak up, because a lot of people don't, and yeah, I'm just doing really well in that. I.T. I'm the only one in my group to have completed my first unit, and have a very good chance at getting A's next year, and maybe beat the school record and get 4 A's. R.E I'm fine in, should get a A if I just make sure I revise!
So all is good, Right?
Well Wrong!
Science!
My science teacher has now moved me from doing my hight tier to the Foundation tier for Chemistry and Physics. Then he went to show my mum my marks on the past paper and what do you know, he's put the wrong marks down for me. An E! an E! OK fair enough I'm not a genius at science, but bloody hell I'm not that thick! the lowest I've ever got in any science is a D. Also when did a B look like a D! Never.
Anyway, yeah, that was my parents evening of 2010!
Bring on Parents evening 2011!
I'm going to bring hell upon my science teacher tomorrow, he won know what hit him!
And it's not just me, there is at least 2 other people with a similar story to me!
