50's success!
Well, the 50's do-wop show went off with only a few hitches (one was due to the guy who blows the pitch pipe being handed a new pitch pipe and blowing the wrong pitch for the first song about 3 times, one due to a pretty damn mean woman running the raffle table. Seriously. She's quite the bi-otch.)
Otherwise we all looked really good, I think. My skirt was the only one without a poodle, but a friend of mine leant me the socks that came with her costume, so I had little poodles there. :) I'd also made a "hair scarf" out of some left over material that I tied around my ponytail. Worked pretty darn well, if I do say so myself.
No pictures, though. I didn't think to ask anyone in the audience for one. One of our chorus members that couldn't perform took a video, but, yeah, I'm not going to post it here. Partially because I'm not sure how that would work, but also because I haven't actually looked at it myself. I hate watching myself in videos.
I was just thinking that I didn't have much on my project list, but as I was thinking that, I realized that I still have fabric to make myself a full circle skirt out of knit material, and I have the second half of the curtains I started that I need to finish. I also have two patterns that I ordered with the intent of using them for Christmas gifts on the way to my house. No pictures of them until after Christmas, though, unless they don't turn out. :)
