Okay, originally I was coming on here to vent about the fact that some blithering idiot broke both the cars windows last night (or this morning) and that I've got to shell out money I can't afford to get mine repaired... and I'd planned to self-pity a bit about the fact that I've worked the new job for a month but only got two weeks pay because *surprise* they hold back two weeks. However, I just saw tonight's episode of HOUSE, and I'm so bloody astonished and giddy and awestruck that I can't think about anything else.
Hugh Lauie is awesome. Robert Sean Leonard is awesome. Whoever wrote that episode deserves a medal and a trophy and roses tossed at his/her feet. *sigh*
House and Wilson reconcile. I didn't expect it so soon...but boy am I glad I didn't have to work tonight and could view it as it aired! So many touching lines and wonderful exchanged looks...Wilson breaking down and admitting that he wanted to remain House's friend ...House's amazing assertion to Wilson "You're afraid to lose the person you love the most--so you push me away!" (Words to that effect...not exact because the VCR is in the other room...) Those rare and lovely little smiles House gives Wilson (and nobody else that I've ever noticed)...the incredibly funny backstory of how they first met...
I was just at the board checking out the comments--the East Coast fans are freaking out from awesome overdose, the West Coast fans are dying of curiousity and impatience. The fanfic/icons/screencaps that are going to come off this episode are going to be spectacular. I can hardly wait!
Oh well, back to reality (and work) tomorrow. 9-6...long day, but at least I'll get a full lunch to rest a bit between non-stop hauling and lifting. Really wish there was someone there I could converse with every now and again...the librarians have their little clique...as do the office workers...and all the pages (me being the antique of the group--everyone else is 25-30 years younger) hang together and talk about mind-numbing things like cellphone designs and annoying boyfriends. Argh.
