(no subject)
First thing
My HC email isn't working at the moment. In fact, it hasn't been working for the past 3 weeks, so if you've emailed me anytime in the new year, I have not gotten it and you will not be receiving a response. I'm sorry, it probably pisses me off more than it does you. I know this sounds cheesy, but if you need to leave me a message, the easiest way is through the facebook or on here, because they are presently the only accounts of anything I can check.
Other things
Ashley and I were stopped by the bus controls last night. It is the first time I've been stopped since being in Dijon (so that makes it about 4.5 months of nothing) and as usual, Ashley and I had not bought tickets. However, we weaseled our way out of the equivalent of $50 tickets by pretending we couldnt speak french and thought we could buy the tickets at the end and yada yada yada. We we actually on the way to pick up a friend's car, because she parked it at the train station, realized she wasn't coming back from Paris until Thursday, and asked me to go drive it back for her so she wouldn't have to pay 100 bucks for parking. The Catch: her car is standard, which happens to be something I never bothered to learn. I think I stalled about 3 or 4 times in the parking garage before I could figure out where the clutch caught, and then after that, Ashley and I were cruising the streets of D-nasty.
I watched Snatch in french. I think I would have trouble understanding Brad Pitt even if it were in english.
I just put my eyebrow ring back in today after an absence of 5 months. It's crazy that the hole is still there after so long. But at least it saves me 50 bucks to repierce it. Weirdness though - you have to buy the balls and the post separately.
