One holiday down, one to go

I successfully made it through Christmas with Micke's family (my sister's bf for all of you who dont know). Being away from home sucked a lot, I was close to tears most of the day. It's frustrating to be in a country where I can't understand what people are saying. Thankfully, I met one of Micke's relatives that spent some time in France in the 60's and spoke it better than English. I made sure to sit next to him at dinner.

Winter break also means I'm halfway through my junior year of college. Weird. Seeing as I have yet to step foot on the HC campus as a junior, I keep referring to "last year" as freshman year.

New year's is coming up, and I'm looking much more forward to that night than I was with Christmas. I brought the bubbly from the FR because it's government regulated and wicked expensive here. Although I ALMOST wish I were in Paris with the rest of the crew. Almost.

I have lots of pictures but unfortunately I cant put them up because I have no where to hook up my laptop. It's been snowing here like crazy but it's ok...I'm getting used to the cold.

One of my sister's friends loves Blazing Saddles. He made a joke about it at the bar Saturday night and I cracked up...but no one else got it. Too bad I shoot with this hand.....
