Sorry, sorry, sorry. I'm a spaz. Please forgive me. I completely forgot that it was Monday yesterday. My week was thrown a little out of whack and I swear I woke up thinking today was Sunday. I don't know, someone must've slipped me something. Or it was probably the sleep deprivation. Yeah, the sleep thing. Anyway, I do have the update to AAB. This chapter however is split into two parts because it was just too long. So as you can see this chapter is titled "Chapter Twenty-Eight A" I will be posting "Twenty-Eight B" next week. I'll be sure to tell you whose point of view the second part starts in. This was also a reason why i couldn't lable it a sepearte chapter because then i woul've had to switch POV's and then things would've changed and it would've just turned into this huge mess. So i decided to skip the headache and just post it in two parts. Now, again, sorry for my spaziness, without further adu, here you are.

Title: All American Boy. (When I made up this title, it was a joke because Nikki kept hassling me for one, so I told her this, and well it stuck)
Pairing: Arok
Rating: NC-17 (overall)
Disclaimer: I do not own/know AJ or Brian
Author’s note: I was sitting in class (I can‘t remember which one) and this story idea popped into my head, I started writing and this is what was produced. (it‘s what happens when you‘re bored out of your mind sitting in a class you don‘t want to be in) Oh and this story is written in different POVs . It alternates between Brian and AJ. They’re separated by the line of dots.
Chapter Summary: The second day of their weekend work-through. Brian goes to AJ's house were-in, of course, flirting occurs.
(Chapter Twenty-Eight A)
AJ wakes up to his alarm clock blaring in his ears. Groaning, he blindly slaps at the annoying thing on his dresser, effectively turning it off on the third try. Turning over onto his back AJ smiles, knowing what today is gonna hold. Brian is supposed to be coming over today so they can finish up this book and watch the movie. Visions of yesterday flood his brain. After they had eaten not much else got done the rest of that day. Nick had ended up staying the entire afternoon and most of the evening. The boys had forgotten about their reading and had just hung out the rest of the day watching movies, playing video games and joking around. Harold Jr. had joined in with them sometime later that evening and they had went out for pizza. It was fun hanging out with all of them. It was so relaxed and AJ felt really comfortable with them. AJ noticed the whole time they were together, Brian kept finding ways to touch him and they were both flirting up a storm with each other, sometimes getting called out by the other people around them, mainly Nick and sometimes Harold. They then would blush and mumble incoherent sentences that resembled apologies of some sort and step away from each other slightly. It wouldn't last long though because they would end up doing the same thing again five minutes later. AJ smiles softly to himself, his plan to wait till after he's finished with the project to do anything with Brian are slowly falling apart with every flirty comment or look Brian sends his way. It doesn't help that AJ replies in kind. Deciding not to dwell on the fact that Brian is pretty much breaking through all his defenses and he's helpless to it, AJ throws the covers off his body and begins to get dressed for the day.
A half hour later, AJ is showered, dressed and ready for the day. AJ looks at the contacts and his glasses sitting on his dresser and grabs his glasses. It was the weekend and he really didn't feel like fighting with the stupid contacts today. Walking downstairs and into the kitchen, AJ sees his mom standing at the stove making breakfast. "Hey mom, whatcha makin'?" AJ asks with a smile leaning over her shoulder to get a look.
"Breakfast." Denise answers. "I heard you get up and I knew Brian was coming today so I figured I'd make you boys a little something to eat before you got started working."
"Thanks mom." AJ says with a smile.
"Uh huh, so what time is he supposed to get here?" Denise asks curiously.
"In a few-" AJ is interrupted by the doorbell and a smile breaks across his face. "Right now." AJ says with a laugh as he moves from his spot against the counter to the front door. "Hey." AJ says with a small smile as he opens the door for Brian to come in.
"Hey." Brian says with a bright smile. "It smells good in here. You're mom cooking?" Brian asks as he sniffs the air.
"Of course, I gotta feed you two before you burry yourselves into those books." Denise says as she walks into the room. "You know, I never thought I would ever be against AJ working on his homework. Usually it's the other way around where I have to keep reminding him to do his homework." Denise says with a chuckle, shrugging as she pulls Brian into a hug. "C'mon well. Come and eat and I promise to get out of your hair so you can work." Denise states, tugging on Brian's arm as she leads him to the kitchen. Brian glances back over at AJ over his shoulder and AJ just shrugs in reply, laughing lightly as his mother continues to pull Brian along with her. "Have a seat boys." Denise directs them as she moves to quickly make them some plates. The boys do as told, sharing a glance as they take their seats beside each other. "Here you go." Denise says with a smile as she places their plates on the table.
"Thanks Mrs. McLean. This looks really good." Brian says, smiling politely at Denise.
"Brain, sweetie please, it's Denise. And thank you." Denise smiles. A few moments of silent eating ensues and AJ knows it won't last much longer. His mother never really was one for silence. "So, what do you boys have to do today?" And really, that sense of dejavu should be hitting him right now because this was exactly what happened yesterday except his and Brian's roles were reversed. Looking over at Brian, AJ can tell he was pretty much thinking along the same lines as him when Brian gives him a small smirk.
"Well we just have to finish the last few parts of the play and then start the movie." AJ answers after a moment.
"And the essays?" Denise asks curiously.
"I'm gonna start on them tonight after the movie. I already started the last one. It's about half way done right now though." AJ states.
"Okay. Well I have to go run some errands right now and do some running around, but I'll be back this afternoon for lunch. I'll pick something up on the way back." Denise announces as she stands up and takes her plate to the sink, grabbing her purse as she turns to look at the boys.
"Sounds good." AJ nods getting up, Brian doing the same and placing their dishes in the sink.
"Okay well then I'll see you two later." Denise says with a smile, kissing AJ on the cheek and hugging Brian. "Oh," Denise says turning to look at them. "please don't try to make out on the table again." Denise smiles brightly before chuckling and walking away with a wave.
"Oh god, she is never going to let us live that down." AJ groans, leaning his head down on Brian's shoulder.
"No. She's not." Brian says with a small chuckle.
AJ lifts his head from Brian's shoulder and looks at him for a moment. Brian's face is so beautiful and AJ can't help but stare at all his features and really, he should look away before he does something stupid like grabbing Brian by the neck and pulling their lips together. AJ finally forces himself to look away after a few moments and nods his head toward the kitchen door. "C'mon, let's go upstairs and get started." AJ states, only realizing seconds later how dirty that statement could sound.
"You realize how dirty that statement can be twisted right?" Brian asks with a smirk.
AJ laughs and nods. "Yeah, I know. I was just playing it back in my head. But that's not how I meant it." AJ says, sending Brian a playful glare. "Get your head out of the gutter."
"What, you said it." Brian defends lightly, chuckling softly.
"Yeah but you were thinking about it." AJ retorts.
"No comment." Brian states and AJ smirks softly before rolling his eyes.
"C'mon, let's go watch this movie already." AJ states, grabbing Brian's hand and leading him upstairs. All traces of his previous nerves leaving him. "This one actually looks good and it's funny in a weird way." AJ says.
"Okay, okay." Brian says laughing lightly as he holds onto AJ's hand and allows himself to pulled upstairs.
AJ lets go of Brian's hand as he enters the room. Moving to the TV, AJ grabs the movie and pops it into the DVD player. Turning around, AJ finds Brian sprawled out on his bed and smiles. "Comfy?"
"Yup." Brian nods with a smile. AJ laughs and shakes his head. "I think we forgot the popcorn." Brian states after a moment.
"No problem." AJ says moving to the cabinet by the desk. Opening up the doors, AJ grabs a bag of popcorn and pops it into the microwave sitting on one of the shelves.
"Oh you got to be kidding me." Brian states, standing up to stand beside AJ.
"What'd you think I had in here?" AJ asks with a chuckle.
"I don't know, but not a micro- you have a mini-fridge too?" Brian asks incredulously.
"Yeah." AJ says with a shrug and a small laugh.
"Dude, I- wow." Brian says shaking his head and laughing. "Whatever, it's easier than going downstairs." Brian shrugs, grabbing the bag out of the microwave once it's done.
"My logic exactly." AJ says bending to grab some sodas. "At least that was the argument I used to get my mom to buy me one." AJ states with a small smile as he takes his seat beside Brian.
"Hey man, whatever works." Brian says with a chuckle.
"Yeah, so you ready?" AJ asks, grabbing the remote and his notebook.
"Yup." Brian nods, getting settled.
"Okay." AJ nods, pressing the play button and setting the remote on the bed beside him. "So can I get in on some of that popcorn or do I have to make another bag?" AJ asks playfully.
"I guess." Brian answers with a playful sigh, laughing as he hands AJ the bag. AJ shakes his head and grabs the bag, popping pieces into his mouth as he turns to watch the movie.
