The only other consistent thing about my days is prayer. The moment I see a head crown I begin to pray outloud. "Welcome, baby! Welcome! In the name of Jesus we welcome you to this place and this world. We are so glad you came and invite you to live and breathe in the name of Jesus." ...or something along those lines.
Birth is a spectacularly beautiful event.

ps. pray for Congo...there is more sexual assualt/rape there than anywhere else in the world. :(
