flurry
wow. there has been a flurry of lj posting going on my friends. wow. I feel as though I should jump on the band wagon even though I'm not really sure I have anything to share.
The conferences finally ended - 9 straight days! - and today we have a free day and are moving to a guest house. I'm hopeful that this will mean I will actually get to see some of Thailand - as I've been here for almost 10 days and have seen NOTHING.
I want to see elephants - eat food so spicy my mouth is firey for days - get my hair straightened - learn how to say more than just "hello" and "thank you"- walk the streets in during a rain storm - buy a million pairs of shoes (thailand is the place for shoes) - and - oh yea - GO to india and start catching babies. I'm very impatient on this point.
