in australia
so it is winter in Australia which means that essentially the climate is the same as Humboldt county. It rains - ALOT -it's windy and about 55-60 degrees. All of this I could handle except that it also gets dark at about 6pm - so the days are very short. I officially miss summer.
The forth of July my favorite holiday of all time is tommorrow (or in two days for you Humboldt folks) -it's always a little disapointing to spend the forth out of the county. We are supposed to be having a party tomorrow night but who knows. No fireworks - No bbq = no party.
Other than these things I am loving being in Australia. I am in awe of the other women in my school. I'm soooooo excited to really get started. Today we got all of our textbooks and the nerd in me wants to take them down to my room and read them all now. I think we are playing games tonight -we are all still battling jetlag so we have to stay up "late". aka. 10pm ish.
