CHARACTERS: Michael/Ryan
IDEA: Ryan, in response to all of his new found fame and the pressures that go with it, locks himself in the bedroom of his old house. In desperation, someone (Kyle, Troy, one of the many members of the Lochte family, whoever) calls Michael since he's "been there". Michael spends many hours sitting next to a mute!Ryan, trying to help him see it will be alright.
OTHER: I think it would be great if they didn't have a pre-established relationship. Kudos for spooning, where Michael is whispering things into Ryan's ear.

CHARACTERS: Michael Phelps/Ryan Lochte
IDEA: A year after London, Ryan comes out in National Television, letting the world know he is gay. Michael had been dating Ryan in 2008, but dumped him after Beijing, cause he didn't want everyone to find out he was gay. Now that Ryan has announced his sexuality, MP is no longer afraid, and dumps Megan and starts training for Rio. I would love if the story could tell all of Ryan and Michael's meeting at the big meets during the years leading up to Rio (how they mend their relationship) and maybe end up in their last race together in Rio, where they are already married and they are both swimming with the same last name: Phelps-Lochte.
