It's artistic, and it lets me keep all my memories in order.

[He has a lot of memories and he remembers them all very clearly--which can be a problem because if all memories are just as fresh, it's hard to distinguish which ones happened a long time ago versus which ones are new.

Did you know that humans who have perfect recall often have a lot of problems doing simple tasks because of it? Bet you didn't!]
