[NAME:]
Larry Butz

[AGE:]
27

[GENDER:]
Male

[STATUS:]
Perpetually single (in between his supermodel girlfriends)

[SEXUALITY:]
Straight

[FRIENDS:]
Phoenix Wright -- Larry and Phoenix are close friends, and they have been since grade school. Even though Phoenix has moved on to bigger and better things and Larry....hasn't, they still get a lot out of each other's company. Larry tries to be a good friend to Phoenix (when he's not distracted by his girlfriends), because he knows Phoenix does the same for him.
Miles Edgeworth -- Larry has always looked up to Miles, since Miles has always been the most mature and forward-looking of the group. Inherent differences in their personalities sometimes cause problems in their friendship, but despite the rocky patches, Larry and Miles are good friends.

[ENEMIES:]Frank Sahwit -- Frank murdered Cindy, Larry's former girlfriend, then tried to pin the crime on Larry. This is not friendship-worthy material for Larry. And he's never going to forgive the man who murdered his precious Cindy-Windy.

[OCCUPATION:] Larry doesn't tend to keep jobs very long. He usually has sort of menial, entry-level fast food jobs. (The only piece of PW3 information I know is that Larry is employed as a security guard during part of the game. I guess he's moving up in the world!)

[HOBBIES:]
Larry’s primary investment of time and money is the constant stream of high-maintenance women he dates (usually supermodels, though he occasionally branches out to aspiring actresses and the like).

Larry has a surprising passion and for art. He enjoys painting, sculpting, and other artistic pursuits, but he usually slacks off or gets distracted before he can finish his work. (Unless it’s a gift for one of his supermodel girlfriends, in which case he finishes it in the name of love...only to make a new one for a new girlfriend next week.)

[LIKES:] Dating beautiful women, art, his friends, art, goofing off

[DISLIKES:] Getting dumped by beautiful women, working

[STRENGTHS:] He genuinely cares for his friends, and knows what to say to cheer them up. He's very passionate about whatever he's involved in, for however long he's involved in it. He tends not to dwell on the past; he has a decidedly "carpe diem" attitude with just about everything in life which means that he is generally a happy person.

[WEAKNESSES:] Larry's carefree attitude means he never holds on to jobs or women very long. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and can sometimes be overly emotional.

[APPEARANCE:] He tends to wear jeans, t-shirts, and his favorite orange jacket. He doesn't spend a lot of time on his appearance, so he always looks a little scruffy around the edges, but he's presentable.

[PERSONALITY:] Larry is carefree and easygoing. He's a happy, laid-back guy who prefers jokes and silliness to anything too serious. (He can, however, adopt a solemn air when required of him.) His constant changes in girlfriends and jobs makes him appear a bit flaky, but he cares about his friends and would do whatever he could to help them. He's very transparent when it comes to his emotions; combine this with his inherently mercurial moods and he can easily go from ecstatic to crying in the span of a minute.

[BACKGROUND:] Larry first met Miles and Phoenix when the three of them were in grade school. Larry had stolen Miles' lunch, and Phoenix was accused of the crime. Larry felt bad that he was being falsely accused, so he tried to stand up for him. Unexpectedly, Miles also stood up for Phoenix! This surprised Larry, and he decided he was interested enough in the two boys to get to know them better.

Their unlikely friendship has continued since that day. Although Larry never had any real legal aspirations, he's always supported Phoenix and Edgeworth in their endeavors, and they've supported Larry (sometimes to their chagrin) in his.
