FACE OF FACE!

Jul 21, 2004 01:36

Dear God, I put too much Chilie powder on my noodles, and now I think I'm burning from the inside out! Ah well, they were pretty damn good!
Had some damn good times last week...the highlight of thursday being 'the wicker man' at the mandrake, and some glassjaw being played for me.
But once again it was friday that managed to rock every pair of socks I own. There were about 20 people I knew crammed around a bench, including Mark and Wilz, who are so fucking funny when together! Especially when getting down to completely inane stuff like 'spaceman'...Haggis is a genius, and once again I applaude his draughting in for our friday nights!
Seemed to be pretty much enjoyable for all involved, even the catatonic Cheryl, who was collapsed in the toilets for a large period of time. Me and Avalon swapped shirt things for the night, which seemed to encourage the hideous amounts of man-love that went on that night...mostly involving Dom, Joe and Bandy in some way or another! Fucking hilarious. Yet again Nik got plastered (which is beccoming a mystery to me how) and was with his hot friend who has a hot sister for half the night.
Me and Bandy shambled back to Wilz and Marks, played some game cube and watched clerks and American Pie...though I'd had 3 hours sleep previously and was due in at work in the afternoon. So I only got 2 and a half hours again...Granted to say I had a day of feeling like the undead, with only some red rooster to fuel me til 10.30.
Went to Ashton court after work on sunday with Ben, and met up with other work people there...also saw little Caroline! Who was with Beth and Rosie, fucked off their faces (suprise) which was nice. Then I got drunk, bought some beads and glowsticks, then got down to some live Acid Jazz/D&B in ther far tent. The night was made by ben finding £20 to buy us both beer for the night! Score. A note to Ashton court organisers though; please, please open the bridge up again, so that we don't have to walk up that un-godly hill to get up there again! That's twice I've done that now, and I feel sorry for any old people who try to make it there....I almost had a stroke! Funnier was at the end, when thousends of people shuffled down that same hill, in the dark...it reminded me of that thing where people chase a roll of cheese down the hill!
Yesterday I hadn't slept, cos I'd had a curry and spent all night at Bandy's, before working at 11. A good day which turned out frustrating though, damnit. Came home, collapsed for five hours, now I'm here. YEY!
Hmmmm....Cheese. I feel like crap now!
