(no subject)
I'm nearing the end of Les Thanatonautes. It is wonderful. I still think I like L'ultime secret better, but that probably just because it's about brains (and anyone who really knows me knows how facinated I am with brains). I think, were there a fandom for Thanatonautes, Michael/Raoul would be my OTP 4EVAR!!1!1!11. They are love. They are also horribly geeky. There should be a Thanatonautes fandom.
MiMi showed up yesterday while I was at work. It made me very happy. We are going to hangout Sunday (so that I can tell the Peglers that I "already have plans" and can't babysit). It was sort of confusing having her there because I felt as if I should have been working not sitting around chatting, but I didn't have much to do. Ah well.
Today we entertained a bunch of 3 year olds and their parents as part of the Summer reading club. I think I'll be finding glitter stuck to me for the next decade or so. Quimper's kid is cute and thankfully came with her mommy. I don't think I'd have had the guts to do all the voices in the story I was reading aloud, if it was in front of one of my teachers.
There was so little to do by the end of today that we spent about an hour googleing hot actors just to pass the time. By we I mean me ond the other 3 librarians. This includes my boss. I love my job.
I have had this huge pounding headache since about 11 this morning. I fell asleep during my lunch break this afternoon. I'm going to go to bed fairly soon now.
I want to get up early tomorrow; the_acrobat and I are going canoeing. Yay! Then I'm going to the beach with Pam and her friends. More yay!
I'm making mysel a pair of wrap around pants. They are neon blue. They will be very awesome. I just have to do the waist band, sew on the ties and hem them. I am excited.
I went shopping yesterday on my lunch hour. I got 3 shirts and a pair of capris for under 20$ (end of season sales). How awesome is that. The capris are super comfy. One of the shirt, which I am wearing now, is bright pink and have SuperGirl on it. It matches my lightning bolt earrings nicely. I love it. I want to get the WonderWoman tank too, but it's not on sale and I really don't need more shirts.
