What drives you?
What keeps you going?
If you're in school, what's motivated you to study hard, get good grades, or do you feel as though school comes naturally to you?
If you're not in school, are you happier? Do you feel fulfilled? If you've been in school and dropped out do you have intentions of going back? If so, why??

I think almost every day about quitting, and I have for 3 and a half years. A lot of good has come of it - I'm a different person now, but I owe more of that to moving away than specifically to school. There are a lot of great people and things that I wouldn't have known if not for school. But I'm not here for the classes, I am easily frustrated and fall behind even though professors think I'm a good student - because it's not what I'm here for. I'm in a poet phase right now, or always have been. I don't want to go to school. I want to work at Kinko's and steal paper to start self-publishing. I'm here to live. (Not settle.) I'm here until it's time for me to do something else. I wake up every morning knowing and hoping that at any moment life could change, because that's what it does. School is the only thing in my life that I don't hold to the same standard of "leave when it's time to leave / quit and move / 'I leave before being left'" that I hold nearly everything else in my life to. It has instilled that fear in me, and it's the only thing where other people's money and faith are riding on it more than mine.
So we'll see what happens on the other side.
