cheering
so they took cheering out of the athletic department, the reason they told us was bc they needed to add another guys sport- mens lacrosse, to fufill title 9, and since ncaa doesnt consider cheerleading a sport, they pick us to get moved to clubs.
so we lost our coach bc she got paid like 3000 a semester so as a club we dont have that kinda money to spend on her and she needs money so she hadta get another job.
we cant have tryouts bc were a club so anyone that wnts to cheer can- even though we only have like 21 uniforms.
we cant go to away games bc we hafta pay for our own transportation.
our captain (who is know the president of the cheering club) has to run the entire show, wen normally coaches would take care of everything.
the only plus is that we can still go to nationals and pick the girls who compete (no more than 20 girls can) and with more ppl iguess we have a better chance of having a good team..
