Mamoru stood backstage inside the auditorium, sifting through old costumes and putting up recently cleaned ones, trying to arrange them in some type of logical order. The place had been left in a mess before he came to the school, and he still simply hadn't gotten around to fixing the problem in some areas. It was something to do while waiting for his prima donnas to arrive at their audition. Hearing the sounds of the door echoing open and shut, he assumed just that had happened.
Instead, the voice of a familiar, blonde haired man spoke up from the seating area as he walked inside. "Professor Chiba, would you like some help with that?" Glancing back, Mamoru's busied expression became a smile, surprised into an almost accusatory shout. "Motoki!" The professor's face became puzzled. "No, actually, I was just finishing up. What are you doing here?"
Not answering for a moment, Motoki took the time to set a simple basket with a lid down into one of the seats. He was wearing a pink collared shirt and a pair of khaki pants, which was pretty standard for Mamoru's old friend. "You weren't in your room when I came by, I figured you'd be out here. I was, ah... In the neighborhood." Mamoru walked out, stepping down off the stage, soon after hanging the last costume. "I don't mean the auditorium, what are you doing here? You're on the wrong continent to be 'in the neighborhood.'" Motoki gave a knowing laugh, "I guess you're right. Actually, my parents were thinking of sending Unazuki here next year, so I flew up with her for a few days to have a look."
Mamoru quickly went from puzzled to concerned, narrowing his eyes at his friend from Japan. "Do you . . . know what kind of school this is?" Confused, Motoki was taken back slightly, "What do you mean? You don't like it here?" The black haired man straightened his green blazer, "Well, no, that's not what I meant." Does he really have no idea? "Never mind, have a seat if you like. Some of my students were about to audition for the play, it probably won't take all that long."
After thinking for a moment or two, Mamoru's eyes went toward the basket. "Actually, we could use someone else to read Romeo's lines for one of our Juliets. Is that who I think it is?" Glancing to the basket himself, Motoki grinned, "Of course. I didn't have anyone to look after him, I can't just leave him alone across the world. If he didn't get sick, he'd get lonely!" Somewhat disturbed, Mamoru simply looked away, "I see. Of course."
(OOC: Just assume Rei, River, and Minako know to show up. It probably should have been weeks ago, anyway. O_o;)
