Professor Chiba Mamoru stood waiting over the roof entrance of the dormitories, looking every now and then into the horizon of an ending sunset. With his black and red cape to the casual breeze, he was ever so dramatically reading a newspaper from behind his mask. To be specific, it was actually The Quibbler, and while it might not have been the

Take coat off. Transform. Put coat on.
Simple, eh?
A brief pink flash of light could be seen down the hallway as Sailor Moon picked up the winter coat.
She opened the door to the rooftop, not knowing what to expect. Ah, romance... Suddenly, her thoughts ran back to Luna's behavior just before Usagi left the room. There was something off about her, she didn't look happy at all. Sailor Moon sighed, knowing that she'd have to make it up to Luna and do something for her.

Quickly enough, he tucked away the newspaper and walked over to the edge above the doorway, knocking down some of the snowfall. Had he been acting himself, he might have posed rather suavely, though in trying to pretend being Tuxedo Kamen, he wound up placing his hands on his hips rather awkwardly. Clearing his throat as the door opened, he then spoke as heroically as possible, "You came after all, Sailor Moon."

She was beaming brightly, not noticing that Mamoru seemed to be in an awkward position. (OOC: Usagi may be perspective, but she's dense right now. :D;;; Love blinds.)

"I'm glad you feel that way, Sailor Moon." He turned again, off to the side, swiping his cape over a seemingly empty space. When it lowered again, it revealed a once invisible, wooden table where a somewhat simple dinner was set, "Won't you join me?" It was, of course, the same small table from Mamoru's own room, though it wasn't marked in any telltale way to remember it by. A red rose had been placed in the center, inside a transparent vase.

"Of course, I will." She giggled. "Oh, you've got a different mask on. Red just for this day? How romantic~!"

Rubbing the side of his face, he briefly averted his eyes, making an indescribably awful expression he couldn't contain and simply had to hide while facing another direction. Only odango atama could buy this. Noticing the slight blur, he quickly tucked away his reading glasses while making sure his mask stayed on, then took a seat across the table. The most notable item on the menu was the dumplings, as it seemed fitting enough.

"Aaah, you've got dumplings on the menu..." She blinked as she glanced at the menu.
There was just ...something ironic... but of course she couldn't quite place it. Ah, love was blinding her, perhaps? Love? Crush? What was it...?
"So, Tuxedo Kamen... ah, I want to know more about you."

She was thinking back to the crystal ball with that interesting scene in it. Ah, that scene. How odd the question came from that.
"Never mind that question. It's too much of a long story behind that... I suppose it's pointless in asking you your real name..."
The dumplings certainly looked delicious, but her stomach was too nervous at the moment.

Remembering the best way to distract this girl, he reached over and offered one of the dumplings up to her mouth, waving it lightly under her nose from the end of a silver fork. "Perhaps we should simply enjoy our romantic dinner together, Sailor Moon."

She took a bite of the dumpling and chewed on the piece. "Mmm! This is so good! Did you make this?"

...tuna tuna tuna... Fish! Hmm.
"What do you mean? Tuna?" She thought for a second. "Oh! Did you mean Luna...?"
Weird, he didn't get her name right... but did I really tell him her name...?
"Ah well, about Luna... she seems to be a bit down the last time I saw her. I'm not sure why but she didn't seem to be too happy about the holiday."

This feeling was so odd... So familiar and strong as if she had experienced it in another lifetime. Why had she never noticed this? Perhaps, they didn't spend enough time around each other.
Mamoru?
Why did Mamoru just pop in her head...? Did she harbor similar feelings for him? What was going on...?
Was it the so-called love poison that had mingled with the water supply like the other Luna warned everyone about.
"...you know... Something about you feels familiar to me, Tuxedo Kamen. As if we met somewhere before...?"

Mamoru found himself almost startled, thinking about it with his guard down. There was a quick enough excuse. "Well, we have, haven't we? Perhaps, it's because we share the same goals. The feeling of comradery can sometimes make it seem as if you've known someone forever." Actually, though... Did I see this girl before coming here? In Japan, maybe, on the street, or...
They continued their dinner as if it were some natural thing to be eating on a rooftop together under the stars, albeit in the middle of an all but freezing night. Somehow, it never seemed too cold, though time passed a little faster than they realized at first. Mamoru had barely touched his food, though that's not to say Usagi hadn't been fed most of it. "You know, maybe you should go check on Luna soon, even if she might be with Artemis. I don't think youma distract themselves with dinner dates."
