So I just watched episode 9 AGAIN and it can break down my cold, cynical shell and reduce me to a teenage girl blubbering over Twilight. Yes, despite the slow clap. And the hilarity of Naomi's prom outfit.. Was that a Campbell tartan?
I don't even know why - I guess it's just because there's a paucity of big Gaymo romance. So when this happens I go listen to sappy music and then try to snap out of it by reading a fic like that one that had Naomi and Katie fucking every year on the anniversary of Emily's death. Maudlin.
Or perhaps for a change, tonight I'll go download the big GHEY gossip girls episode that everyone is talking about it. I must admit that I've mainly experienced the show through the "Gossip Gays" videos and the cogent analysis of our LJ'ers, but this episode simply sounds too gay to miss.
Anyway, it's Veteran's Day here in the U.S. tomorrow, which means no work and lots of long speeches about sacrifices for our freedom. Not that we've had to worry about our freedom since the War of 1812, but whatever. Good time to catch up on my reading.
