Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, favorite type of underwear etc. Repost this challenge ( Read more... )

Rehearsal & Dinner smed March 13 2008, 17:04:42 UTC
Oh my. We're going to break this into several parts or I'm going to be here for hours.

The rehearsal went so well, once everyone got unlost and found the place they were supposed to be. The wedding was outdoors so it was a bit hard to hear, but our friend who was doing the sound was doing a trial at the same time so we used the mic, etc and it was great. We all went down the road to a local restaurant for the dinner. This is where I start to get upset. My husband's family is spread across the state - Grandma lives in Wisconsin, one son stayed here, one son is in Florida and one daughter is in Alaska. So they were all in for the rehearsal, but Grant and I had agreed beforehand that the dinner was not going to be family reunion because it wasn't fair to not invite all of my extended family. So wedding party and parents of young children ONLY. I walk in and his WHOLE FAMILY is there. I = pissed. It seems that someone had gone ahead and extended our reservation, etc. I stop Grant and ask him to step outside with me intending to tell him how it is... and he immediately explains, he doesn't know what happened, that wasn't the plan, he didn't know. So there was nothing to do but go along with it. I think enough people knew that I was upset about it without me having to say a word. The rest of the night went pretty well, I don't remember anything standing out. At the end of the night, I went home with my parents and Grant stayed at the hotel. I did make him come outside again and say good night to me... and heard much hooting and hollering from inside. LoL.

Ok, so there's that for now.
