Uni is keeping me crazily busy, so major apologies to all my flist (I haven't commented on your journals in ages) and those waiting for anything from me. I really don't know when it'll calm down, though I'm choosing to have a break this weekend. Hence why I'm here :)
I could bore you with RL crap, but why do that when instead we can squee?
See these *points to poised arms* these are my Heroes-flailing-arms. Now watch them whirl *flails wildly* that episode was awesomesauce. Adored the effects coming from Peter, and DAYUM Milo you were looking FIIIINE in this episode! I may have clapped insanely when West took Claire flying *coughs* haven't really been impressed with Heroes as of late, but this reaffirmed my faith. Sylar being alive wasn't really a surprise, but Imma kinda glad anyway - we need our resident bad guy back to full strength now please. Woot for the kissing at the end too, but dammit Peter, open the box. Have you not seen your brother, the bearded wonder? The fans need him to shave, FOR GODS SAKE OPEN THE BOX!
Juuuuuuuustiiiiin! Dooooooon't goooooooooooooooo! *whimpers* well that was fun, spending a solid two hours crying. Guess thats what I love about this show though, it makes you laugh till your ribs hurt, and then pulls a solid punch to your gut when you're not looking. It was heartbreaking when William died, despite me being all gleeful about Kitty and Robert (I LOVE those two together, LOVE THEM). My judgement is still out on Rebecca, and I continue to be amazed at how the hell Kevin manages to pull in all these hot guys when he isn't one himself (in my opinion anyway). Going to watch the new season premiere very soon *g*
What a disappointment. I can hardly believe Kripke penned this, with clunky dialogue aplenty - I actually physically cringed at points (see "that can't be a good sign" "no, no it can't") - and a downright irritating Dean (new flist members, do note, I'm a rabid Dean!girl). I know some are saying it should be expected, but I can't see Dean, in any world, throwing the deal back in Sam's face like that. There were barely any brotherly moments either, and the plot was executed far too quickly for my liking.
That said, there were definetly some redeeming features: Bobby (brilliant when he was screaming in Tamara's face), Pride ("Boy King"? *snickers*), "If we're going down, we're going down together", NEW CREDITS RAAAAAAAWRRRRRRRR (helllloooo, where have you been all series?!), the special effects (bigger budget, anyone? Though holy hell was that gore-y), "Oh god", and Sam (wonderfully in character throughout, I felt heartily sorry for him).
Sorry Supernatural, but you're going to have to do better than that to earn my squee.
Much, much better - go Sera, it's your birthday *dances* I. Hate. Satanic. Children. They freak me out. I imagine the screams of, "Oh noes, make it go away," have sufficiently convinced my neighbour that I'm nuts. Yay the moms though, the acting from both rocked.
Ben was adorable, if not overplayed at points (anyone else chanting, "don't do it, Sera," when Ben was hovering at the window, just ready to save the boys after they'd totally got their asses kicked by the mother? Just me? Okay, moving on). The bench scene *heart melts* and Dean grasping Ben's hand through the bars! Oh petal *snuggles Dean* the look of disappointment at being 'relieved' of fatherly duties just broke my heart. This is the kind of Dean I like to see.
Though you know what else I'd like to see? Some moments between Dean and Sam. That would be awesome, not that them together is what the shows about or anything./sarcasm
Excuse me while I bask for a moment in the hotness of Jensen. He's always smoking, but there are just certain episodes where it actually becomes a distraction. This was apparently one of them *drools all over the place*

OMG! SHE'S A DEMON! *flails manically* Man Kripke, you are a frickin genius! What a twist! I'm surprised to report that I like her character, she's suitably bitchy. Man, when Sam bellowed at her *shivers* sorry, I'm still a little incoherent from that ending *flails* OMG SHE'S A DEMON!
