(no subject)
It's been a while and so many good things have happened. I think that's my thing with Live Journal...I only really write when things are going bad. Well things definitely are not going bad right now, but I'm a little tipsy, so I had a thought. I get so paranoid that Ted is going to get bored with me or not want to do the distance anymore or whatever, and I get so afraid that this will end. The funny thing is that based on what he's said, I think maybe he feels the same way too. I mean, I'm just guessing. I'm hoping though that one of these days we'll stop worrying.
But things are amazing. Ted came down and helped me move out of Tech and met my dad and we stayed in Lilburn a couple of nights. And then he helped me move down to Florida and stayed here a couple of days.

Kristen and Renaud also came down to visit me and some of Kristen's old friends from Titusville. One day we went to the beach and then later that night we all went out on a casino ship and had a great time. I was sad when everyone had to go, but that gave me time to settle in, learn my way around, get some furniture, etc.
This week was my first week of work. It's actually been kinda boring because I have just been reading a bunch of training stuff and taking little quizzes and watching a bunch of videos. But I'll tell, it's still so exciting to be in the middle of all these amazing things going on. Next week they are going to try and get me INTO the orbiter! That will be amazing. They also want to take me out to see Atlantis on the pad. I think that will be wonderful too...it's still so surreal that I'm actually here. How did this happen?
Well, today I'm going to run a few errands and then I'm going to the beach for a while. I am DETERMINED to get some kind of a decent tan while I'm down here.
I miss my Teddy, but I will see him soon. I'm going up to visit him and his family in New Jersey in two weeks! So exciting!
