Happy Turkey Day Weekend.

I won't be coming online until Monday-ish. Perhaps Sunday evening. Tasha's flight is landing about now and I really need to spend time with her this weekend! I'm a lot more mature now then I was last time I saw her; even if it was only 4-5 months ago. High school has changed me a lot, and I'm a lot different than she might remember me. First of all, I have a real life, as opposed to last year when I was a complete computer nerd and I THOUGHT I had a lot of friends, but when I look back on it I just had really three people that I could really trust. Now I feel like I can be myself around my friends, when last year I was sort of pretending to be something to make people happy.
Anyway, speaking of last year friends; when I was leaving school and walking to my mom's car, I heard someone call my name so I looked up and there, in the middle of the street holding a skateboard was my Sophizzle (Sophie)! I was like, "Sophieeee!" And ran over to the street and she crossed, and we hugged and talked momentarily. Ventura HS doesn't have school today and didn't have it yesterday either, so she was with Dustin (her boyfriend since last year... I remember when they first started going out) going over to his house. Cool, he lives by St. Bonnie! I told her I'd call her and we should hang out but... I have a feeling that might not happen. It never really does whenever I want to hang out with someone. Lesigh.
I've had a long day, even though I got out at 12:26; it was a bit boring and endless today. All of the classes were nice and plain, no work, just watching movies and not dressing out for P.E, but in Advanced English we had a 5 question quiz on To Kill a Mockingbird chapters 5-7 and a vocab quiz. Want to hear our words? They were horrific: Tantalize, labrynth, Machiavellian, laconic, maudlin, galvanize, lethargic, ostracize, gregarious and egregious. Ohmygod. Not only did we have to know what they all meant, we had to know where they came from and about 6 synonyms each. That's like, 60 something words on the quiz! But it was only 35 questions. She didn't use all of the synonyms, I guess.
Well, see you all on Sunday evening or Monday afternoon after school! Toodlew and I bid you all a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.
