Summary: This scene, this stupid idiotic scene starts with a fight. And ends with a kiss.
There’s this scene, scripted into the show you’re working on right now. You always end up being cast as the rivals, but this time, this time, in some underhanded twist of fate, you’re supposed to be lovers.
Would-be-lovers, anyway. And with the way it’s been going on set right now, it’s not looking like your characters will ever hook up.
But that probably has more to do with the fact that Nate can’t get into this role. He can’t pretend to fall for a character that looks and talks and acts like you. Not when he’s already trying not to fall for the real you.
This scene, this stupid idiotic scene starts with a fight. And ends with a kiss.
And when you grab his collar and yell your lines in his face, he can pretend. Pretend that this is all just a well choreographed dance between the two of you. But your noses are brushing and he can see that look in your eyes, the one you keep trying to deny.
And he hates himself for it later, but he kisses you like he means it.
