“It’s New Year’s Eve and everyone is out drinking until they puke and you don’t want to feed on drunk college girls?”
“You’re not going out tonight?”
“Nope.”
“... and that would be because?”
“Not hungry.”
“Okay, wait,” Nate says, flopping down in the chair next to Brandon, crossing his arms. “It’s New Year’s Eve and everyone is out drinking until they puke and you don’t want to feed on drunk college girls? Are you feeling alright?”
“Ha ha. Funny.”
“Hey, I’m being serious.”
“Oh Nate,” Brandon says, leaning over and ruffling his hair. “You have so much to learn.”
Nate bats his hand away, “Teach me then, oh wise one.”
Brandon grins, crossing his legs and sitting back. “It’s New Year’s Eve.”
When Brandon doesn’t say anything else, Nate raises his eyebrow, “Aaand?”
“And that’s the point. Do you have any idea how much alcohol is in the average person’s blood tonight? And how much I do not feel like being hungover tomorrow?”
“Really? That can happen?”
“Oh dear, dear, stupid, young, naive, Nate,” Brandon says, settling himself down in Nate’s lap. “I told you, you have much to learn.”
“And I told you,” Nate counters, biting playfully at Brandon’s lips. “Teach me, then.”
