Pretty excited when i saw the trailer for it, it's always cool to get the gang back together again.
The latest installment in the series makes you want to slash two people so badly while staying deliciously straight (Vin Diesel's Dom's sweet testimonial of Michelle Rodriguez's Letty; Paul Walker's O'Conner and Jordana Brewster's Mia look so good and hot together). ;D But yep, the disguised bromance quite grows on you. Plus hey, there's nothing like two people so good at something (driving and racing, in this case) and then tag-teaming. It didn't sell so much the first time around, but here it's quite clear-cut.
Let me also say that it's likely i like this movie the best out of the four (so far). The first was just pure mindless fun, the second i could care less about, the third, only for the drifting. To me, the "first true sequel" also has the most decent plot and has the most character development among the four. No joke, you read that last one right.
Watched this movie with a group of my college friends and blockmates. Get-together i kind of organized was an unexpected success, wahoo! (A lot of people showed up, a lot of them being surprises too ie. people who usually never showed up at other previous gatherings showed up.) Ate dinner before the movie at this quaint little Indian restaurant with good food. Fun times.
