Glee recap 'cause I felt like it.

First of all, I love Mr. Schue for sticking up for Tina's right to express herself through her clothes. Screw anyone who says she can't wear black. And Twilight sucks. (And Puck suggesting Catholic School Girl as a look for Tina. Did anyone else immediately think of Rachel when he said this? Anyone?)

Finn is really getting the shaft in the last half of the season and I just want my bb to be happy. It's not fair that everything's changing and he's getting kind of screwed over. I can't really blame him for not wanting to share a room with Kurt.

QUINN! RACHEL! MERCEDES! All together! And being friendly! My heart skipped a beat. I want Rachel to have real friends.

Kurt was BADASS sticking up to the jocks for pushing a girl. I fucking love him a little bit for that. He usually bothers me, but this might have swung me to the other side. Also, "Annnnd, we have a jumper," is the funniest thing he's ever said.

"Where's Rachel?" Puck cares. He does.

My heart breaks for Rachel. I just want her to not have to be sad all the time.

Bad Romance? Awesome. And I hate Gaga. Naya is fierce.

I really, really hate these two jocks. They need to back the hell off. There are guys like that in every high school, and it just pisses me off.

Rachel reaching out to Shelby for help, then looking fantastic and everyone noticing? Amazing. And touching. I don't love that she called her Mom, though.

The boys as Kiss? This makes me uncomfortable. Face paint is not acceptable under any circumstances. Ever since I saw the pics from set, I've been weirded out. I can't take this seriously. But...Puck's tongue. (And that's all I'll say about that.)

MATT SPEAKS! I love it. I just wish he wasn't wearing effing face paint. I need him to be cute and hot and stuff and stuff when he talks.

Oh, Finn. I love you, dear, but don't tell Kurt to blend. He can't blend. This scene is tense. Kurt is kind of amazing in this episode, not apologizing for who he is. I do understand why Finn is uncomfortable. Burt Hummel is the best dad on television. The best. I really hope these speeches stick with kids the way the jokes on this show do.

Will and Shelby. Will is all kinds of awesome for just sticking up for everyone in this episode. He's finally going to bat for Rachel, here, which we've never honestly seen him do.

Oh, Puck. I love you, bb. I love you. Opening up about your daddy. Any and all insight into his character is just love. That was an adorable moment between he and Quinn, and for the first time, I really feel like they understand one another. I still don't know if I can actually, truly ship them (actually, I'm sure I can't), but I do love the idea of them being friends. And I love him for not fighting her on the adoption thing, for getting that it's what she wants and he should respect that. (Not to mention, I love that denim shirt way too much.)

Lea is amazing with this mom storyline. She brings the perfect amount of tension and emotion without being over the top. And this red dress is super cute. (And she said "Bring it!"!?!? So many PR nods in this ep, or is that just me!?) Aww, gold stars. Annnd, I'm tearing up. I love Idina's voice (always) on Poker Face. When they get to the 'I'm marvelous' part, I pretty much get goosebumps every time. Part of me really wishes Will had seen/overheard that little impromptu number.

Tina is awesome.

Finn in a shower curtain. I can't even...

Schue with the slow clap. Perfect way to end the epi.

I feel like every week I say "This is the best episode of the back nine!" But I honestly feel that way about this one. It wasn't about relationship drama, it was about glee club drama and personal issues and everyone seemed to support everyone else. It felt like in the beginning when they were starting to get to know one another. The difference now is that they do know one another and they have each others' backs because they care, not because they're guilty by association.

I loved it.

glee, recap
