Kushiel's Chosen

Once again, the only descriptive word here is "epic"

Although, I will say that the first book was just a tad better. The characters seemed...more well-rounded. Or 3-D. At least, the lesser characters did. And, too, the main character didn't seem so much like a god. Although, in this book it was multiple gods who helped her out, so...I guess that explains that?

Though, I think that this one was more...plausible? In it's own sort of way. Although, there were a lot more gods and stuff.

Which I like a lot.

Oh, and an EPIC swordfight. Which may have been one of the best swordfights to imagine ever.

Wasn't too much description on it, though.

The book was well-written, well-narrated, and everything. No confusion in the events, and it was quite interesting.

Only downfall was that it was quite difficult to get into at first. The beginning was full of painful problems between the heroine and her soon-to-be-consort.

But the ending, at least between those two characters, was fabulous.

Over all, a great book following another great book. Always rare to see that.
