i saw The Strokes last night. their sound live is unbelievable. everyone was just rocking out. my voice is completley gone today. too many cigarettes, too much singing loudly to the songs. it was worth it, though. the last song of the encore was the best one: reptilia. "yeah, the night is not over. you are not trying hard enough..." la la la.
when we were waiting in line to get in, people were passing out flyers for the next concerts. there will be another kick ass one in a month. the flaming lips will be there. along with nine inch nails, iggy pop, and some other bands. it will be fun!
but now i have to grade my students' homework and prepare today's lesson...
