full of fail

i just returned from a horrible interview for a server position at ihop...the interview was going marginally well at first but once i mentioned school the manager just shut it down...i don't understand, i have everything i need to work for him: food handler's permit, slip resistant shoes, transportation, server experience and people skills but since i have a little tiny bit of ambition and don't want to work in a kitchen or restaurant for the rest of my life, this beady eyed asshole won't hire me...he told me to call next week but i saw his expression, i know the 411. this is the second time this has happened, the manager at the longhorn steak and grill was just like this guy. what is wrong with being a student? this keeps happening and its driving me crazy. he asked me why i want to be a server and not a cook, what am i supposed to say? i don't want to wait two weeks for a check, i'm sick of shitty kitchen jobs, i don't want to shave, i don't want to work my ass for seven dollars an hour. i've got almost a decade of cooking experience and ihop starts cooks at seven dollars an hour...that is fail.

i'm going to call that fucker next week and pin him down on why he won't hire me.
