technology makes such an ugly mother
geez, the wireless router just seems to screw up the internets...very annoying, i want to play people online on the wii and look at cat videos at the same time and it just won't work...at least not today anyway.
so now that we've blown through our college money in a mere two weeks ( i think that may be a record) it is time to find work. i'm applying to be a server at various restaurants because i would like to get paid more often than every two weeks. our rent's paid up for a few months so i can get by working part time to pay bills and whatnot.
i will be graduating del mar this semester. woot. i just have to survive the amazingly dull earth science class with the even more dull lab...and i have to manage to get through this computer class that i have taken twice already and both times i made an a for basically knowing how to use a mouse, but every year they call the class something different put out a new 160 dollar book and tell you that you have to take it to graduate.
after spending half my money on rent i bought some essential things:
a new guitar
glasses
look, no more tape, and my sister gave me that hat...its like she has figured me out all of a sudden.
and sunglasses:
after about four years of the same prescription, its very strange to be able to see clearly again. in a good way.
i also blew money on the usual things like beers and smokes, but that's to be expected.
i am greeting this new year with cautious optimism simply because i expect to finish del mar with an associates degree and then start at a&m in the fall, which feels like taking baby steps toward grown-upsville.
right now i am totally obsessed with the new animal collective, the new andrew bird, deerhunter's microcastle, and why?'s alopeci. i have over ten thousand seven hundred songs on my ipod. it can't be healthy.
