This blog has certainly turned out to be a blessing in disguise! An old friend of mine, Tyler Allen, one of my best and most treasured high school friends, was inspired to write me and catch up after reading my first entry- not that he was one of the friends I ever felt like I lost, I've always still considered him a best friend and just knew whenever we caught up it would be just like old times. So today I had the wonderful opportunity to chat with him via cell phone for an hour and forty minutes! So much to catch up on! We have not really been in touch for nearly seven years! I cannot tell you how happy that made me.
Today is Saturday, and having just recovered from last nights migraine, I am going to take it easy today. Its amazing how exhausted a bad migraine can leave you...
So my entry today will be a simple wish for you all: may you all find renewed happiness in friends of old as time goes by- it is truly a gift to find yourself still loved after so many years.
I should also mention here that facebook recently reconnected me with my godmother, my Auntie Anne, whom I loved so very much when I was just a little girl and still do. I plan to write a bit on facebook's impact on our generation a bit tomorrow or soon, something I've thought over quite a bit as of late.
Till then, love to all my friends and family- those who have been constant, those of old and those recently renewed...
