I almost forgot that I had a Live Journal! LOL!
So I was talking to a friend on the phone and he was on the computer updating his journal, then it hit me, I have one too! LOL. So, here I am updating for you all.
Things are going OK. Almost off of probation (not criminal for those of you that think I am bad!) at the fire station. No more Probie work for me! yay. We just hired 7 new people at the station and only one of them is trained. I have volunteered to help train the others who are all very cool people so far. We'll see how serious they are about the job though.
Ummmm.....Oh yeah, so I am taking a stress management class at OCC (the class rocks by the way! lots of cool stuff talked about, its kind of like a psych class) and part of the class is taken over the internet. Today just happened to be an internet day. So, I rolled out of bed in plenty of time to boot up my computer, logged on to the site, and started the assignment when....the power goes out! I called my professor and find out that there is no make-up for the day and that I have to find a computer fast! I got dressed in the dark and rushed to use the computer at the station (of course being stuck behind the slowest driver in the state of michigan!). As soon as I got to the station and logged back in to the site and started working, we get toned out for a fire alarm! Luckily it was nothing and I was able to finish the assignment on the net before time ran out, thanks to my quick typing skills. Talk about stress, what an oxymoron for a STRESS MANAGEMENT class.
Some other stuff happened that is no biggie. Like my friend Falcon says, "If it is not going to affect you in ten days, forget about it!"
