happy official first day of summer to all. the 21st has started the summer season perfectly with mid 80's, swimsuits and tan bodies streaking downtown. i think this town has grown by the thousands in a matter of weeks. this town is much more cultured in the summer months. in the past week i have attended a huge car show (i fell in love with a 69 white convertible porsche), street dance, outdoor concerts, art shows and i am currently in the process of gearing up for the inland's largest triathlon (the ironman) which will occur on sunday. i have worked a little here and there at the golf course, but mostly just hung out with friends. i have attended LOTS of meetings, consumed LOTS of coffee, and tanned LOTS at the beach. hiking, sleeping, golfing, church and playing with sophia are also activities that i am loving. life is great... i am content with my current living situation, but am filled with anticipation for the fall in a new place.
