"Banana Pancakes..."
Today my friend/co-worker told me that she has recently observed me lowering my expectations. She also said that I have switched from expecting only the best, to settling for just barely average. At first I was totally shocked and offended. After thinking about her comments all day, I have begun to see her point. Her words were with intention to help me, not offend me. Looking at the situation, yes she's right. I have lowered the expectation level for my grades, passed up my first choice university only to confirm next year's attendance at my last choice school, lowered my health expectations, thrown in the towel on my social life for my work life, and even lowered the standards put on the guys I see.
I think its time I upped the ante on my expectations of school, work, social life and equally important, my dating life...
But for now, my writing will remain comme ci comme ca (this post really is horrible, ah well).
