It has been rather quiet now that you mention it. Since neither one of us sounds all that busy, perhaps you'd like to go out?

Certainly. Where did you have in mind?

Well, the weather has been rather nice lately. It would be a nice day to go for a walk or have a picnic. If you would like, we could even take a trip off campus for a change of scenary.

A picnic?

[shrugs] It was just a thought. I guess you're not that adventurous when it comes to the prospect of having to endure my cooking. How about we just go explore some town then? There must be something interesting to see.

I don't think I've been on a picnic before.

There's a first time for everything. What day is good for you?

I tend to have no classes during lunchtime. I just advise not having our lunch by the Offensive Magic building, is all.

That's probably a wise idea. How about we meet near the College Boys dorm? There is a lovely wooded area nearby, that's suitable for a picnic.

Certainly. What should I bring?

Bring? I hadn't considered that.. I guess I kind of assumed I'd be providing everything. Is there anything you'd like to bring?

Like I've said, I've not been on a picnic before, so I don't quite know the protocols...

[giggles] Protocols? Picnics are rather casual events, there aren't really any protocols to follow. Generally people bring food, drinks, or a blanket to spread on the ground.

How about you bring along some food that you like to eat? I'll do the same and that way.. we can share.. but also be assured that we'll each have something we like available.
