My faith in George Lucas was reaffirmed today, based on one little fact...the Star Wars exhibit at the science center, today, had models, props, and costumes from all six movies.

YES FOLKS, they DID INDEED build MODELS (you know, out of plastic, and little bits of wire, and paint, and all that stuff that DOES EXIST OUTSIDE OF A COMPUTER) for the prequels. I saw them. Concept miniatures of the Wookiee village, a LIFE-SIZE DROIDEKA, Federation tanks, guns...they were real. So, maybe these real things did not make it onto the screen at any point in the film. At SOME POINT they were built. By people in a model shop, with human hands...

I would post all the lovely pictures I took today (somewhere in the vicinity of 80, not including the ones Michelle took of ME on HER camera...), but I am too tired to resize, and properly Photoshop, every single one of them. So I'll include a few notables, and go off to bed, or to play video games, or something.

"Looking? Found someone you have, I would say, hmm?"

I don't know why, but I want a pet wampa. They're so cuddly! You know, when they're not gnawing on bloody animal carcasses.

It was, I have to admit, kind of cool to be looking through Darth Vader's eyes. :-)

Self explanatory. :-)
