As I sit in my room alone i often ponder random thoughts.
Example(s)
Upon watching House of 1000 Corpses for the tenth time... i see potential in Zombie as a director. I am bothered that he clogged up his only movie with excerpts from acclaimed horror movies from the past. I understand the references and the desire to pay tribute where credit is due... but the target audience is already aware of these accomplishments and aside from that, if they wanted to pay tribute, wouldn't you throw in the dvd/vhs? I don't really know the point of this... but then again... the man behind my number one album of all time (if you don't know, get the fuck) is good at causing complete and total confusion and chaos.
Jesus Christ.... I saw Charlie Chaplins' "Circus" tonight... and my god... i was thrown back by the brilliance. I find it amazing that Chaplin created such beauty during a time filled with destruction. Despite one of the most destructive divorces at the time, the set going up in flames, and a critical disaster, Chaplin realized the brilliance in this piece and hid it for a full year before completing it. The movie is total brilliance. He is a man of the one-take action. I do not look forward to viewing chaplin films with dialog. No justice in a world filled with laws and jurisdictions... U!!!-S!!!-A!!! (hacksaw style)
Supersonic (oasis) is a beautiful song and should be heard by all. I cannot find another song that offers so much solitude yet gives me my fix when times are down. Sometimes i wish i were the man under the waterfall.
I have a project due friday in the amazing class known to all cmu broadcasting slaves as BCA 311- Television and Movie Copywriting. I get to storyboard a fucking 15 minute movie... are you serious? i have decided, upon watching the greatest movie in the history of low-budget films, to storyboard the one and only... Big Hairy Monster.
I need new episodes of Futurama
I've had too much beer tonight
ICP quote of the night- "I could give two shits and a fuck"
I'm feelin supersonic

You can have it all but

Luckily i downloaded the Boondock Saints soundtrack before "the man" took away this privilege. It kicks ass.
After much searching, i have finally found the native race of my fathers side... the chaipas... centuries later this group would be lead into battle by a mere peasant. Zapatista was his name, revolution in favor of peasants was his game. A powerful and revolutionary group of natives. I take pride in the fraction of a percent of my blood that traces back to such glory. At times i wish i had gone into latin american studies... rich cultures blessed with divine religious beliefs mixed with a side of total and uncanny rage that was unlocked by the force of rival tribes/christianity from the outsiders.
that's your history lesson for the night
Frylock, take it away...
I'm fucking drunk
