Note to my gas station customers:
The "Enter"/"Do Not Enter"/ direction arrows near the pumps are NOT just pretty decorations. I'm sick of people screaming at me for other people not paying attention or threatening me because I'm daring to enforce some rules that just may save their lives if I had to get them all out quickly (fire, leak, etc.).
I've gotten props from quite a few customers for going out and having people drive into the pumps the right way. This praise outweighs the annoyance I feel when people yell at me for telling them or they just drive off so they won't have to deal with it. I plan on keeping this up for the remainder of this week so I hope the girls that cover the other shifts keep it up and don't ignore it. Otherwise, how the hell are people going to listen and take the signs/arrows seriously?!
