A tornado watch?! WTF!?
I've got to be at work in an hour. Just found out (I haven't been watching TV at all today) there's a tornado watch in effect for most of the state of Massachusetts. Massive thunderstorms are supposed to be heading this way and all I can think about is the 4-hour shift I've gotta do in an oversized box made of metal and glass.
On top of that, I'm almost certain that the Red Sox got rained out tonight.
FUCK.
Oh well. At least I've got the portable DVD player.
But on the upside, I got a few Sega Genesis games coming in via eBay. Cadash (more of a game for Josh and Tim, but I was happy to contribute to their geekiness), Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?, and Disney's Bonkers. The latter two are half of the only 4 Genesis games I ever beat (Disney's Aladdin and Monopoly being the others) and I'd been looking for them for a long time. Just a last bit o' splurging before I have to be Uncle Scrooge McDuck for the entire summer to pay for my fall semester (LONG story...financial aid sucks). At least I get to go to two Red Sox games this summer...one of them being the return of Trot Nixon to Fenway Park at the end of this month. VERY excited about that. :)
Oh well. Guess I better go change outta these flip flops/shorts. They're not work-appropriate attire, after all.
