(no subject)
I think I'm going to make this a quick update, but I'm bored at work so it may be longer than planned.
My weekend was maaahhhhvelous. On Friday I drove to York Beach in Maine to babysit my 4 year old goddaughter and her 18 month old little brother. They are soooo adorable. My cousin and her husband had to go to a wedding at 3 so I babysat for about 6-7 hours and made $100. Not too shabby considering it was a fun time. I brought the kids to the pool, then we ordered pizza and watched Cinderella, then we got out of bathing suits and walked to the beach to get ice cream. After that my goddaughter wanted to play in this little stream from the ocean so we did that for a bit then walked along the beach while the kids played with seaweed. While we were there I learned that guys aren't that interested when you try to talk to them but you look like a mom because you have two little kids with you. Oh well. Then we went back to the Inn and I gave them baths and we tried watching March of the Penguins but it was too boring for all of us so we watched something something Tinysauruses which was adorable.
I came home saturday, watched Footloose, brought Tony the money I owe him, went to see "The Lake House" with Anders and Kelly, then went with them to Tony's brother's graduation party where we watched some beer pong and ate some dessert.
On Sunday I slept in then went to the unfinished furniture store with my parents where they bought me two baskets for organization in my room and a nice dresser for me to paint and put in my bedroom. So I started cleaning my room sunday and I started watching Season 1 of Sex and the City...I'm hopefully going to just watch Sex and the City all summer until I'm done haha. Then Sunday night I got to see Rory because he's back home! Mark, Lindsey, Anders, Kelly, Rory, and I all went to Applebee's for half-priced appetizers which were delicious.
Monday I was supposed to wake up early and go to Boston to meet my aunt and go to work with her. Well the new sheets on my bed causes me to sleep through my alarm, so no Boston. Instead I ended up sleeping til 12 (damn sheets) then working out with Rory. Then I cleaned up my room more and got it looking pretty so now I just have to paint the dresser and get it in there to organize my clothes. I'm so excited that my room is finally going to be liveable! Now I just have to get my dog to start sleeping on the floor so I don't have dog hair all over my bed. I also went to Dick's and got really cute golf shoes for $30 and I got a pair of jeans and a pair of these cute shorts that I've been dying for at the Gap. My mom bought me coldstone ice cream which I don't need so then I went home and rode my bike before it got dark. I topped the night off with some Falcon Beach and Sex and the City...what a beautiful day!
Today after work I am going to Holyoke for a mentor appreciation dinner at Girl's Inc then I'm going to Springfield to spend the night with Silk. I'm looking forward to it. :)
