March for Equal Rights -- today at noon

A straight coworker told me about the march today at noon. I log in and learn more.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8
The noon Peaceful March for Equal Rights is still on! Because of the anticipated large crowd, people will now meet at the back parking lot of No on 8's Headquarters (at 301 University across from Urban MO's). Participants will march peacefully to the North Park Theater at 29th & University. Please gather at noon at 301 University for the march.
I'm bummed... many people close to me who care won't be able to make it. My girlfriend and boyfriend both have to work. :-( (and so does the lesbian bean-stalk)
BUT I get to go and so does my coworker. I'm a tall white guy and will have my white shephard dog with me. Say hi if you see us ... :)

It will be interesting to participate in this... i have never done public activism before. hopefully, there won't be any of the creepy yes on 8 haters close by. After this (or maybe during?) i plan on going by Cheers Bar for either a 180 orange energy or a tall beer depending on my mood.
