QUADRANT MEME
So as you may or may not know, there's a webcomic somewhere on the internet called Homestuck, which has invented a strange new kind of shipping among the fans. These relationships are called QUADRANTS, as it is ideal to obtain all four kinds for a happy and successful life. As happy and successful as trolls can be, anyway. But this isn't about trolls, this is about the characters in Smash Academy!
MATESPRITSHIP - ♥ Matesprits are pretty much your typical love romance. Easy enough.
KISMESISSITUDE - ♠ This romance is powered by mutual HATE. But you don't want to kill your kismesis, since you wouldn't have one anymore. Besides, the rivalry and hatesex is just so thrilling. This is my personal favourite example.
MOIRALLEGIANCE - ♦ Non-sexual, moirails are more like best friends. But it runs deeper than that; they keep one another in check, and without that other person looking out for their well being Bad Things could easily happen.
AUSPISTICISM - ♣ Also non-sexual, this is similar to kismesisitude but with a third party involved to always mediate between the other two before things get out of hand and everyone dies and/or cheats on their real kismesis.
