[action] Of Trapinches and Gardevoirs

Sep 17, 2011 16:15

[Giovanni had spoken to the young lady a little bit back, and they'd made a date in passing for her to come over and hang out. And try her hand at calming the Trapinch he'd acquired (through totally legit means, I swear) in Hoenn during his time away.

And maybe while she was here, she could convince the creature to get off his head.]

I swear to god, ( Read more... )

[And everyone knew Giovanni was guilty of using a Gameshark.

Voile wasn't really sure what she was going to do. It'd still managed to cross her here, there, and everywhere that she couldn't remember ever telling Giovanni she was a Pokémon herself. And unless Cyrus had said something, he shouldn't have known.

She knocked on his door when she arrived and slipped her hands behind her back after fixing her green hair.]

[He totally would if it meant he could evolve this thing :|

Raikov was out at the moment, so Giovanni came to the door himself, the trapinch still hanging onto his head. It was a rather ridiculous sight, really. But he was anything but amused, though he managed a tight smile for her when she arrived.]

Ah, Miss Voile, please, come in.

[The trapinch chortled in greeting, noticing she wasn't really a human, and waving a little arm at her, but still remaining attached.]

[It was hard to laugh. But somehow, Voile managed to remain good-mannered. There was the faint tug at one corner of her lips, however.

She gave Giovanni a polite curtsy and then a sincere smile before dusting herself off.]

Hello! It's very nice to see you again!

[She paused by the trapinch and eyed her with a light smile.]

Is this your overzealous companion?

And you as well, it's been far too long.

[And he gave her a straight face at her question.]

No, this is my stylish new hat.

[A deep sigh.]

Yes, this is her.

[She wasn't able to hide the way she smiled in response to his rather straight forward reply.

Then she moved to the Trapinch and from Giovanni's side, it'd only look like she were staring. But the telepathic communication was useful and she'd never been more thankful that she had it.]

Hello. My name is Voile. May I have the privilege of knowing yours?

[Gio just sat there quietly, figuring she was communicating somehow with it. Trapinch chittered in response.]

Hiya, Voile. Grumpy here hasn't given me one yet, so I guess you can just call me Trapinch. Or Trapy. Or whatever.

[Voile lifted a hand and very gingerly patted Trapinch on the head with a smile.]

I'll be happy to call you whatever you'd like. May I ask why you feel the need to nibble on his head?

[The happiest Trapinch.]

He's a grumpy butt, and he's fun to mess with. He yells and chases me when I mess with 'im. I need a reason more than that?

[She chortles. This is a very mischievous Trapinch, indeed.]

[Oh, she's cute. Strange. But cute.]

He chases you because he doesn't like you biting on him. You like poffins and stuff, right? If I give you some, will you give him a break? He's having a really hard time handling it.

[Voile tilts her head.]

Pokémon and trainers should work together, not against each other. He's not able to speak your language, so you should find a constructive way to communicate with him.
