[And it was Christmas, a certain penguin had gone through looking around presents for his friends and family, yes even giving a nice little badge for his two ex-trainers back home it was only fair and whatnot.
Actually, about that, he had a lot of his mind for awhile. Ever since the Red chain incident, he had wonder about existence and general things about life, things just felt small now even with the odd events that happened on the school on some occasions. He had thought about how much he felt he was in the dark during his days being trainerless, how there was a lingering paranoia in him when he was training on the Northern areas of Sinnoh. Every day felt like some sort of fear haunting him, leaving him unable to enjoy the 'excitement' in life.
But you know what? It finally stopped.
During that day when Red chain happened, all he could think about was how he suddenly missed the quieter days of his life, from those off days where he just sits in his dorm and typing his thoughts to the network to the days where he shoots some breeze with his friends. As cliche as it sounds, it somehow made him appreciate life more, how those small tidbits just makes his life pleasant. In a way, he was glad that, unlike Cyrus. he could see the brighter sides in life and that there were people around him that cared and supported him.
The thought of how people see him still lingers yes, but more of a positive matter now. He had somewhat thought about how he felt with most people and he had sorted out most, ready to give them exactly a gift to show how much he cares about him. Except for one certain legendary, he can't put his finger to it, but it was almost identical to back with Jasmine, what is that feeling anyways...]
