Those are some very insightful words. There's a proverb that goes "Killing a man to save the world, does not save the world."

But I agree with you on self-defense, every one should at least know a little bit.

Everyone should, yes. Had this fellow found up in the forest known a little better how to take care of his affairs, we may not be having to talk about it at all.

You think that whoever is doing all these killings is somehow in some sort of problem?

Well, I guess he's in a problem either way but they just seem... I dunno, there seems to be no malice. I don't think that's how vengeful people would kill.

All These killings!? Hang about just one second, I thought there was just the one?

I was more meaning the victim of the killing - if He'd known better how to defend himself, maybe he'd be alive. That was my intent. As for how vengeful people go about killing folk - have you ever seen the victim of a mortal gut wound? It's a slow, excruciating and frankly dirty way to go. If I had to pick a way to kill someone who's guts I hated, I would certainly consider a quick and deep cut to the tripes.

I guess the way that people take revenge where I come from is different. The preferred method is to make life like a living death as it were. But I don't think we should get hung up on that...

See, I've not got enough patience for that sort of thing. If I wanted to exact revenge on anyone it would be swift, violent, humiliating and short lived.
