"Smash" filming has ended for the principal cast for Season 2 ... and maybe for good.

Several cast members including Megan Hilty, Debra Messing and Katharine McPhee took to Twitter to share photos and thoughts about the end of Season 2.

Hoping that picture are least means Sam will be back this season?

Also, if we can get Hilty back on Broadway for real, I'd be okay with that...

It will be interesting to see how much of a ratings lift that the "Voice" will give the show the week or two before it's sent off to Siberia Saturday.

That's sad, I really liked this show. But I couldn't really see it go on much longer. The plot kinda boxed itself in. How can they
Keep justifying recasting Marilyn?

I really hope the writers give it a proper sendoff if it is the last season. I will be pissed if they don't.
