What: Witness the birth of their darling spider-child, Rasputin the Skulltula.

Where: BE-29, Charmeleon's dorm.

Holy shit. Holy shit holy shit.
Charmeleon was not what you would call the loving, parental type, but he was still excited about this project in his own way. He'd been keeping the egg in a cool, dark cupboard, checking on it every few minutes to dampen it with a spray bottle (damp was good, right?) and watch for signs of life. Finally, the egg had begun to wiggle. Charmeleon had sent out his urgent warning to Kirlia and now sat with the egg resting in a crude nest of blankets on his desk. It was moving more frequently now -- Charmeleon was staring intensely, waiting for the first sign of a leg or an abdomen to finally show itself. Was hatching supposed to take this long? He couldn't remember how long he'd taken when he'd hatched, but he was sure it had been quicker than this!
