Who: Falcon, Snake, Samus, & Otacon
What: The Fab Four has a much-needed talking/drinking session.
Where: The Batcave Falcon's OTHER place of residence, near Mute City.
When: BACKDATED Friday, July 25th, sometime at night.
Rating: PG-13 for major potty mouths.
They had gotten in late as it was, and it had taken an incredible amount of coaxing to get half the group out of the place. A mostly uneventful trip had lead to restlessness (mostly on Ionia's part) and nobody seemed to want to give Falcon any breathing room.
Now I know what family vacations are like.
So with much persuasion on his part, he was finally able to get the "team" alone by giving Cheebo a few twenties and telling him and Ollie to take the three students to a movie (or at least take them into another part of the house). Truthfully, he felt terrible about it, but he knew that the four involved in the infiltration definitely needed some alone time. They had waited far too long for it.
Ollie seemed particularly hurt to hear this news (Falcon couldn't blame him) and it took a great deal of pulling the man aside and promising to make up for it later to convince him.
But he tried to put all that aside as he popped a bottle of champagne (they were supposed to be celebrating, after all) and poured four glasses. "Cheers."
