So there he was. Room BE-9. Alone. Waiting.
Not that Link minded, really. It gave him a little time to gather his nerves. He was just a little anxious since he hadn't really had any face-to-face time with Tetra since they both enrolled. He saw her in class and etc, but they never had time alone like on the pirate ship. No time to talk. No time to laugh. This would be nice, he hoped.
He swung his legs back and forth over the ledge of the bed and glanced at the medium sized egg that was now wrapped snuggly in a quite a few layers of blankets. The Hylian boy's eyebrows creased. He really hoped Tetra had an idea of what to do with this. He knew he had to keep it warm but byeond that-- he only knew how to get rid of these things! Snap 'em upside the head with a sword a couple times and they'd be out of comission. Jolene said they could hit them with a stick if they became dangerous, but he was sure intincts would kick in and something bad might happen.
But he didn't want to force the egg in Tetra's room either. That would be rude. Also... considering how she got kidnapped by a big version of one of these things... Link sighed. Enough, enough. He would keep it in his room, Tetra was coming over so they could talk about it, they would hatch it, train it so it wouldn't be dangerous to humans, and maybe everything would be fine.
Link kicked his legs over the bed again, smiling a little with that optimistic note.
This really wouldn't be so bad, would it!
Now he just waited for Tetra. The door was open; just for her.
